The final step for implementation of the awaited changes to procurement regulations has taken place and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 have come into force on 26 February 2015. Subject to a limited number of deferrals these regulations will apply to new procurement exercises from 26 February.
There has been a lot of press and commentary on the new regulations, not least because of the required compulsory procurement reports and also Lord Young’s reforms.
The new regulations include a number of considerable changes. These changes impact on all aspects of procurement activity and contract letting.
