Working extensively on high profile nationwide equity mortgage products including Help to Buy, FirstBuy and HomeBuy Direct. This has included negotiating and agreeing funding documentation with numerous private developers including BDW Trading, Persimmon, Morris, Miller and Bellway Homes and providing appropriate drafting to reflect changes in policy, funding criteria and regulatory powers. Provision of a support function in respect of post completion matters including variations to funding documentation and on issues arising on individuals’ equity mortgages, eg consents to dealing, deeds of accession and release and the provision of advice on consumer credit issues.
Acting on nationwide projects including Kickstart and Get Britain Building including negotiating certificates of title, satisfaction of conditions precedent and negotiation of funding documentation.
